”We supply sensor solutions with information from monitoring point to user. Our goal is to make all data from multiple devices and locations immediately available.”
Nordigi - We make Internet of Things® (IoT). Nordigi AS is a company that originated at the Silicia technical incubator at Vestfold Innovation Park. We have extensive technical expertise following many years of experience from the R&D departments of a number of high-tech businesses in the Horten region. We therefore have intimate knowledge of what it takes to produce a good product, and we never give up before the customer is 100% satisfied.
Nordigi was invited as lecturer at Autic Seminar 2017, which took place at Quality Hotel in Tønsberg on November 2nd. Our presentation had the title - Nordigi Mobility, Client in the Sky. Easy Thin Client Solution for CitectSCADA.
EMC testing and antenna tuning of Nord Nexus Multinode & Datalogger. Nordigi has entered into a partnership with Shortlink Compliance in Sweden for pretesting / testing of antenna, antenna tuning and EMC of Nordig Nexus Multinode & Datalogger.
Nordigi AS is now in the run-up phase of Nordigi Datalogger. Nordigi Datalogger is a physically small BLE IoT device, a sensor module with the ability to measure and extract data on humidity, water detection, ambient temperature, brightness and vibration. Nordigi Datalogger is battery powered and communicates over BLE.
IoT has many uses. In order to distinguish between the many uses and situations where IoT is and potentially will be, it has become common to distinguish Industrial IoT (IIoT), Consumer IoT (CIoT), Internet of everything (IoE) and finally Internet or Robotic Things - IoRT).
In some cases, these uses will overlap. Therefore, none of these terminologies are exact and "perfect", and for some, these terms can therefore appear to be more confusing than explanatory.
There are numerous reasons for the growing attention for the IoT. One of the causes and perhaps the major factor for the increased focus around the concept of IoT must be seen in the context of industrial IoT and convergence between IT and OT (Operational Technology).
